AFTER DARK: SOUND & VISION

"I will sit right down, waiting for the gift of sound and vision."

This quote by the incomparable David Bowie has inspired the name of the Art Institute of Chicago's newest exhibit, "Sound & Vision," a collection of dozens of works in various media forms that explores the relationships between art and music. This Friday, June 25th in the Art Institute's Modern Wing, you can witness Sound & Vision's next installment, "After Dark," come to life and find out what the Modern wing is like at midnight. Cocktails and complimentary appetizers will be served as you take in sets from local bands, performances, and exhibition tours and begin to see the Art Institute in a new light.
