STATE RADIO: GETTING INSPIRED AND INVOLVED

It seems whenever a catastrophic or disastrous event occurs, you can count on two things to come to the rescue: humanitarian efforts and uplifting music. State Radio has an abundance of both of these. Lead singer Chad Stokes moonlights as the founder and leader of Calling All Crows, a human rights organization that aims to inspire young adults to participate in public service. Through programs such as pre-show service "actions," local action networks, and the opportunity to participate in an alternative spring break tour with State Radio, Calling All Crows raised $100,000 for Sudanese women and pledged 3,000 service hours in 2009. As for the uplifting music, State Radio recently released this video for their song "Knights of Bostonia:"
