When bands go through the, "trying a new direction" phase, it's normally about as successful as Joaquin Phoenix's rapping career. Then there's the bands who dive into a new sound and absolutely rock it. They're on the mark, it is awesome and your jaw is on the floor. Well, Baltimore favorites Beach House are back with their new album Teen Dream and don't be fooled. The decidedly more upbeat melodies that your ears are loving are exactly what make the album nothing short of fantastic.
