PETER HOOK AT SMART BAR

I know Al Gore glazed over (or didn't cover, whatever) this in An Inconvenient Truth, but the 80's and its excessive use of Aqua Net are actually the cause of global warming. That aside, the 80's brought us many other delightful things. For example, shoulder pads, leg warmers, and New Order. The British band was on every 80's movie soundtrack known to man, and completely rocked the decade.

Now, legendary bassist Peter Hook is still bringing the house down. To celebrate his new book, How Not to Run a Club, Hook will be at Smart Bar this Friday, December 5th with a DJ set and book signing. Hooky will be working the turntables, making sure that good dance music didn't go out with the 80's. Tickets are available for 10 bucks before midnight so get there early. The night kicks off at 10pm and is ages 21+.
