DISAPPEARS NOW 100% KRANKY

I love it when great hometown bands have good news to share. Everyone likes to pretend that the coasts are so much cooler than Chicago when it comes to music. So every chance I get, I like to prove them wrong. Well, Windy City rockers, Disappears, have a new home. The guys recently signed with the Chicago-based label Kranky Records.

The band's debut album, Lux, is set to be released in April through Kranky. You can also check out their CCR via Minor Threat sound when they open up for Jesus Lizard on New Years Eve.
