THE GASLIGHT ANTHEM AT DOUBLE DOOR

Summer 2009 was a good one for New Jersey rockers The Gaslight Anthem. They spent the end of June sharing the stage with Bruce Springsteen at England's Glastonbury and Hard Rock Calling festivals. What good could supporting a rock legend do? Spike sales of their 2008 release The '59 Sound by 200 percent, for one. In August, the band was also named "Best International Newcomer" by the UK's Kerrang! magazine & and by August 7th they were playing Chicago's Lollapalooza.

Now, The Gaslight Anthem is set to make their return to Chicago on Wednesday, October 28 at Double Door before holing up in the studio to work on their third full-length album. Joining them will be Murder By Death, The Loved Ones, and The Measure.
