SOUTHSIDE SHAKEDOWN ON THE NORTHSIDE
Anyone familiar with the house and club music scene knows that Baltimore house (sometimes called b-house) can be found just about everywhere outside of Baltimore. Every hipster DJ with a decent record collection has at least one b-house mix on his computer. What would probably surprise you would be the fact that Chicago's very own Ghetto Division were approved by Jersey City's Brick Bandits as b-house's second home.
Now, it's one thing to be the home of the Blues, but to hear such quality Baltimore house pumping through speakers this far away from the coastline is new. It really stands as a testament to the guys of Ghetto Division and their commitment to the music. If you want to see these guys do what they do best, stop by Metro tomorrow 9/12 for Southside Shakedown. Tickets are free before 12:30am and $6 after. The show is 18 & over and starts at 11:30pm
