ON SALE SATURDAY: RISE AGAINST

It’s hard to believe that this year, long-time hometown favorites, Rise Against, celebrate their 10^th anniversary as a band. To mark the occasion, the guys will be playing their first two records - The Unraveling and Revolutions Per Minute - during a show at their "favorite venue in the city" (Metro, duh) on Friday, December 18th. Besides the obvious awesomeness of getting to hear the bands early material played live, another bonus of this show is that all ticket proceeds will be donated to Chicago's Intonation Music Workshop.

IMW is a band-based after school program for aspiring young musicians. The organization partners with social service agencies, Chicago Park District locations, and other community organizations to provide local kids with access to musical instruments, hands-on instruction, and performance opportunities in neighborhoods where it's needed most.
