LAWRENCE ARMS 7" 10 YEARS IN THE NAMING

I can only imagine the vast and hilarious backlog of unused song and album names throughout the course of a bands career. When Lawrence Arms first became a band, they had the idea to name their first 7" Buttsweat and Tears. Now on his most recent blog, bassist & vocalist Brendan Kelly wrote that the name just sounded tough a decade ago. 6 albums later, Kelly knows the name fits - not only because butt sweat and tears are two of the most secreted liquids by the band, but because they've waited 10 years to pin the name to their first 7".

To celebrate their 10th Anniversary and in support of the new release, Lawrence Arms are playing a show at the Metro Saturday, October 24th.  Tickets are $16 for the all ages show. Doors open at 5:30PM and the show starts at 6:30PM.
