ADVANCE WARNING: BENGA

The legendary Benga hits Smart Bar next Thursday, June 11 and if you're at all into dubstep, this isn't a show you'll want to miss. Hailing from the UK, Benga is a big name in the development of dubstep and helped to usher in the genre as one of its very first producers in the early 2000s. So, what is dubstep (for those of us who don't know)? Think dark, moody electronic mixed with some heavy bass at 140 bpm.
