SWEDEN, WHY YOU GOTTA BE SO GOOD?
The Swedes really have it figured out. Their country is not only one of the cleanest and safest, but it's recently been spitting out nonstop musical brilliance from the likes of Lykke Li, Peter Bjorn and John, The Hives, Jens Lekman, and The Sounds. I know. It's good. I don't want to stop listing them. Enter Karin Dreijer Andersson of Sweden's 6-time Grammy winning band, The Knife, to make matters even more complicated and bring us yet another act to drool over: Fever Ray.
Despite the rare touring habits of The Knife, Fever Ray is already on the road in Europe and will hit the US with a short string of dates this Fall. As Pitchfork reports, shows will be patched parts of "performance art, rave, and horror movie," as well as plenty of lamps and stellar tunes. Check out the video below for that "horror movie" vibe.
