GRAND SLAM, STORIES OVER EASY

The Windy City Story Slam returns to Metro this Mayday (Friday, May 1) for more storytelling. In true Mayday fashion, this slam will focus on stories about work in memory of Studs Terkel. Obviously you're in for a battle of words, but don't expect to only hear slammers. Also in store for the evening are readings from a few of Chicago's blue collar workers and live performances by BBU and The Minneapolis Henrys.

In the words of Bill Hillman, "Come to the Windy City Story Slam and blow hard, ‘cause everybody’s got a story." Tickets are only 5 bucks or $100 per vip table for all you hustlers.
