MOLOTOV: TWO SETS, ONE NIGHT
Mexico's very own Molotov are bringing their Latin hip-hop rock fusion to Chicago for a show that's been nearly 12 years in the making (though they're calling it 10). On Friday, January 16th, the guys will be celebrating the 10th anniversary re-release of their 1997 debut and Grammy nominated album, ¿Dónde Jugarán las Niñas? by playing it in its entirety at Metro. Performing with Molotov is DJ Resistol 5000 of WLUW’s Rock Sin Anestesia.
If you can't understand the risque and politically charged lyrics (they're in Spanish), you can still enjoy the unyielding rhythms and beats that have kept this band famous for 10 or 12 years, whichever you prefer. You can still order your tickets online or just buy them at doors before the show at 9pm.
