JAMIE LIDELL, STILL ON FIRE

There's a certain satisfaction in being able to say that you saw an artist "before they were big." If you're one of the people who loves stacking up musical bragging rights, you should probably be at Metro tomorrow 10/8 to catch Jamie Lidell. The British crooner just released a new album, was on both of your favorite Chicago summer festivals, and after his current set of dates in the US and Canada (including a stop by yours truly at 9pm tomorrow) he heads to Europe to open for none other than Elton freaking John. Tickets are still available for the show tomorrow, but don't expect to get that lucky next time around.
