BAND TO WATCH: MONTE NEGRO

Bilingual L.A. band, Monte Negro, sees no problem with bursting through language and cultural barriers with their even mix of alternative rock in English and Rock en Español. Ragged Magzine among others has taken serious notice, featuring the band and their music as a break down of the language barrier. Such an impressive feat is only backed by more impressive music. With a new CD out on Sony/Epic and an MTV Tr3s sponsored US Tour that stops by Metro on August 22nd, Monte Negro easily makes our list of bands to watch this fall.
