RECORDS ARE DELIGHTFUL

Music fans and record collectors take notice! This weekend, Saturday and Sunday April 12 & 13, the Chicago Independent Radio Project brings you the 6th Annual Record Fair & Other Delights at Pulaski Park Fieldhouse, 1419 W Blackhawk. Formerly a benefit for WLUW, the Record Fair is now a fundraiser for the Chicago Independent Radio Project, a group seeking to bring a new low power FM community radio station to Chicago. More local music and independent artists on the airwaves? Sounds like a great idea to us!

With rare vinyl dealers, local labels, arts and crafters, poster artists and more, the shopping can't be beat, and there's also plenty of entertainment ranging from live performances from the Blue Ribbon Glee Club and Ferdinand Fox to go-go dancing from local troupe The Revelettes and a dance party taping of Chicago's favorite cable access television show, Chic-A-Go-Go!
