METRO 25TH | TORTOISE PERFORMS NOSFERATU SOUNDTRACK

On Saturday, October 13th the Chicago Symphony Orchestra will open its doors for the FREE 8-hour Macy's Day Of Music. One of the highlights will be a very special performance by Chicago's very own Tortoise at 8PM on the Armour Stage of Orchestra Hall. The band will create their own soundtrack to F.W. Murnau’s 1922 film Nosferatu, regarded as the quintessential silent vampire film. This unique performance which combines Tortoise’s distinctive sound with a film classic, was created specifically for this year’s event, now in its 11th year.
