R.I.P. TONY WILSON

While belated in the world of the internet, one should never stop celebrating the life of one that has left us, especially a figure like Tony Wilson. Tony passed away on August 10th and left behind a legacy that includes founding and managing the infamous club The Hacienda, being one of five founding partners of the legendary record label Factory Records and working closely with many of Manchester's great bands. Metro's own history and connection with many of these bands, the record label and The Hacienda club itself shows how Tony's life and work reached well beyond Manchester. He will be missed.
