The extra "F" is not a mistake, folks. We're not talking about the chain restaurant or that 70s disco movie. We're talking... Thank God It's Free, Friday! OK, let's make some sense of this nonsense. It's not free all night long, but rather FREE BEFORE 11PM.
Friday night in Metro we have a Life During Wartime and UR Chicago magazine dance party featuring live sets by recently signed Modular Records' band and current Wolfmother touring mates The Softlightes, Chicago's own Hollywood Holt & Million Dollar Mano and newcomers La Scala which features former members of The Dirty Things. But that's not all... no way. There's also DJ sets by Mother Hubbard and up-and-comer Mister Wolf, whom some of you might recognize as the opening DJ for the recent show we had with Interpol. Phewwww... we're half way there, kids.

Friday night in Smartbar we have a Prime Time Of Your Life and URB magazine event featuring a DJ set by the one, the only, The Juan Maclean (of DFA Records fame) along with resident P.T.O.Y.L. DJs Bald Eagle and Popstatic. Expect to hear anything and everything on the dance floor including stuff you can ACTUALLY dance to... 'magine that.
