THIS ONE TIME AT BAND CAMP...

Tired of the same old four and five member bands with the usual guitar, bass and drums? Well then, look no further cause the "astounding punk marching band" Mucca Pazza is here and they're nowhere near that previous description. Ringing in at THIRTY members, Mucca Pazza is a band geek's dream come true and they've got a big (no pun intended) show at Double Door this Friday, February 23. The group includes trombone, trumpet, tenor, alto and bari saxophones, clarinet, violin, sousaphone, mandolin, tons of percussion, accordion, guitar AND yes, cheerleaders. Sadly, they kicked out the sax-a-ma-phone member recently. Although some of you are just hearing about the Mucca, these folks have already graced the stage at Lollapalooza, in addition to playing on Conan O'Brien when he was filming at the Chicago Theatre. See them now so you can say "Yeah, I liked them back when it was just thirty members..."
