LADY SOVEREIGN DECLARES HERSELF THE BIGGEST MIDGET IN THE GAME

Thankfully, her lyrics are cheeky enough without us having to put our own spin on them for a blog title. Lady Sovereign stands 5-foot-1, sports the side pony-tail we made fun of you for wearing in the late 80's, and lyrically mocks American rappers. Her new album Public Warning was released yesterday and now she's taking on our beloved top-40 artists, as well as the Metro stage on Saturday, November 4. However, she has mucho endorsement (and not just from Adidas): the self-proclaimed "greatest rapper alive" (aka Jay-Z) signed her to Def Jam, so Lady Sov. is kind of a BIG deal... and with that, the big/small jokes have come full circle.
