SECRET MACHINES ARE NOT SQUARES

Whenever's there's a good show in town, even if it's not at our beloved Metro, we're fine with telling you all about it. It always helps when we have a sold out show of our own on the same night; in this case, TV On The Radio on Monday night. NYC-via- Austin's Secret Machines performs at the Park West on Monday, October 9. More importantly, you need to know that Secret Machines have gone the way of Bon Jovi, and no we don't mean gigantic hair, acid-washed jeans or playing their hits acoustically. Rather, Secret Machines have developed an "in the round" show, which means fans can surround all 360 degrees of the circular stage. Metro was able to obtain a TOP SECRET blueprint of the stage. We can't tell you where we got it, but it MIGHT have been in a stack of Secret Machines flyers we saw at Laurie's Planet Of Sound. As of blog time it's been neither confirmed nor denied if the band will fly above the crowd or if the drummer will rotate and play upside down in a drum cage.
