ALT-COUNTRY BANDITS LUCERO ON THE RUN

Yup, it does exist and an entire night of what the kids like to yelp "alternative country" is coming to Metro on Friday, November 3. Lucero provides true stories about lives that could have easily happened in the old west: jumping boxcars and drinking moonshine rather then spending time in passenger vans and cheap hotels. Add to it opening acts William Elliot Whimore, who fuses tin guitar with scenes from his farm in Iowa, and the acoustic bliss of Rocky Votolato and you've got yourself a night of country that will make even the biggest indie cynic wish they were sleeping under the stars in a wheat field.
