SOULWAX + 2 MANY DJs = TOO MUCH FUN

What do two brothers do when they've been recording and remixing music under various artist names for over ten years? Well, they go on tour and bring all the artist names with them. Thus is the case for Soulwax, led by David and Stephen Dewaele, who stop at Double Door on Sunday, September 17. David and Stephen are also widely known as 2 Many DJs, the Soulwax alter-ego DJ duo who gained notoriety with their infamous bootleg mixtapes As Heard On Radio Soulwax (Parts 1, 2 & 3). Soulwax's Nite Versions, a collection of remixes from their last album Any Minute Now, has finally been released in the US (Modular Records) and so the brothers Dewaele have put together one hell of a show to take on the road. Expect a DJ set by 2 Many DJs, a live band performance of Nite Versions plus DJ sets by JDH & Dave P. (of NYC's Fixed club) and Chicago's very own Life During Wartime DJs. Are you confused yet? No?
