M. WARD BRINGS POST-WAR TO METRO

Having just released Post-War on Merge Records (his fifth full-length but the first with what he calls a "backing band"), M. Ward is now in the midst of a full U.S. tour. And yes, he is stopping by Metro this Friday night, so thanks for asking. Perhaps you saw him on the Late Show with David Letterman last week performing "Chinese Translation," or maybe you saw today's interview by Greg Kot of the Chicago Tribune or perhaps it was the excellent album review on Pitchfork. There's a lot going on for M. Ward these days and with a batch of new songs in tow, as well as a backing band to live up to the live expectations, the post-tour (pun intended) reviews should nothing but stellar.
