DEMO OF THE WEEK | THIS IS CINEMA

Every once in a blue moon we get a demo that makes everyone in the office look up while listening to it and unanimously ask, "Who is this band?" This Is Cinema happens to be one of those bands and their music leans towards the darker side of indie rock. Imagine Interpol and Radiohead conceiving a baby together and having to slow down their hectic, daily lives just a bit. Oh, and the god parent is Leonard Cohen, who comes over once a week for dinner and maybe a movie.
